Noble and Greenough School - Dance Studio Addition

Dedham, Massachusetts, USA

The idea of having a dedicated Dance Studio seemed like a luxury to the Noble and Greenough School, until they came across a very special Teacher who brought her passion for Dance, and inspired Students and Athletes of all ages. A benchmarking study was completed to understand the qualities and features that would define the new Studio. Baker Design Group was selected to collaborate with the School and the Dance Instructor, transforming their ambitions into a beautiful and flexible rehearsal and performance Dance Studio.

The design of the new Dance Studio building addition happily exceeded the School’s ambitions. The addition was detailed to look as if was always part of the existing Arts Building, and the new structure included new Classrooms, additional Staff Offices, and new rehearsal space for the Music Program. The Dance Program has enjoyed their new facility and their program continues to grow in popularity.
