Taco Comfort Systems - Engineering Innovation Center & Manufacturing Headquarters
Cranston, Rhode Island, USA
LEED Gold
Taco Comfort Systems is a world class manufacturer of mechanical equipment control and monitoring systems. Through the thoughtful leadership of this family-owned company, they developed within their organization a Continuing Education Program for their employees which later expanded to their customers.
The Innovation Center was created as a new building addition to their historic factory and world headquarters. The new building contains a Training Center, where Developers, Contractors, Engineers, and Architects, can learn about new mechanical systems for greater sustainability and systems reliability. The Training Center spaces showcase Taco’s mechanical products in active use to demonstrate sustainability technologies. The new Innovation Center has been well received by their Trainers, Customers, and Employees, and has expanded their educational programs offered.
BDG worked in collaboration with the Taco Leadership and Engineers on a multi-phase renovation and expansion of their world headquarters, creating several new research labs, expanded manufacturing facilities, and office space renovations, for the Taco Comfort Systems Team.
